Elastic straps

The springiness and elasticity of the upholstered furniture are important characteristics to guarantee adequate comfort based on the size and structure of the product. The combination between the various soft polyurethane parts and interposed parts, together with the elastic action of the straps gives the right degree of support and elasticity to the seat; long gone are the classical springs of once upon a time, the elastic straps have become an extremely important part of upholstered products. The seats of Moroso upholstered chairs are fitted with exclusive elastic straps.In order to be able to support weight in the best and most uniform way, the straps are criss-crossed, with a gap of 40/50 mm between straps. Moroso straps are particularly stretchy because they are made of 53% rubber and 47% polypropylene.
No particular care is required for the elastic straps. Nevertheless, we suggest not to jump on the central parts of the seat, particularly when the cushions have been removed.
