Stitches

There has to be stitching, but it must not be obvious. Different types of thread are used according to the requirements of each type of seam. In general, seams are external or internal. For external seams such as single or double-stitched fell, for zip fasteners, external Velcro fastenings or assembly, Moroso uses one hundred per cent polyamide threads, which naturally matches the shade of the fabric.
For internal seams, such as initial overlocking or internal Velcro fastenings, colourless, one hundred percent nylon thread is used.
In critical areas, tear load tests are carried out on the internal and external seams by authorised laboratories, so as to identify the most suitable type of seam and check that the characteristics offer expected guarantees.
