Tomek Rygalik

Tomek Rygalik was born in Lodz, Poland in 1976.  He studied Architecture at the Technical University of Lodz for two years before completing his degree in Industrial Design at the Pratt Institute in New York (1999 BA/Hons). After graduation he worked with several design companies in New York City, and the surrounding area, and was a consultant for clients such as Kodak, Polaroid, Mtv, Perkinelmer, Dentsply, Unilever, and Dupont. In 2003 he began his Post Graduate Studies at the Royal College of Art (2005 MA RCA). After which, he joined the RCA staff as a Research Associate and established his own design practice in both London and Lodz. He has been teaching at the Academy of fine Arts (PG13 platform) since 2008, and has been based in Warsaw since 2009. In 2010-2012 he was Art Director at Comforty - the leading furniture brand in Poland.
